How powerful is the aid of St. Michael. He who is “like unto God” has our needs ever in mind in our time as the Church Militant. One of the blessings of my last years as pastor is to discover the wonderful prayers and traditions of the Church, including the Chaplet of St. Michael which is attached to this post.
I have been blessed to travel to the two “ends” of the ancient pilgrim path of St. Michael. As a very young priest I visit Mont St. Michel in France and a few years ago I was in the wonderful Church of San Michele in Puglia – a place visited by many saints, including St. Francis. Michael the Archangel is our protector in our pilgrimage. Never hesitate to turn to him.
