Here is today’s homily celebrating our powerful friend, Doctor of the Church, Patron of the Missions, and model of a modern woman – St. Therese of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face. It is a reflection on this picture and the young teen who had just passed through severe family trials and personal neuroses to live with the joyful confidence we see in the eyes of this woman so in love with Jesus – the Jesus who gives Himself to her and to us in the Eucharist.
