The Seven Last Words and the Sacraments – Preached by Fr. Stefano Penna

A venerable tradition in the Church sees the “Seven Last Words of Christ on the Cross” preached on Good Friday. Fr. Penna once again led these spiritual reflections beginning at noon on Good Friday 2022. A large number of people accompanied in prayer and song this meditation on the Lord’s saving death. Fr. Penna chose to pair up each of the Seven Sacraments with the Last Words and chose to find inspiration in the writings of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI.
